Kurt Frisch is one of the newer members of Madison Brass Band, having been with them for less than a year. His Yamaha Euphonium was a gift from his family for which he is very grateful! He moved to Madison to support his wonderful wife who is currently a grad student at UW. Upon his arrival to Madison, Kurt decided that he wished to take over the world. Finding that neither the UW nor MATC offered courses in Global Domination and Subjugation, he scrapped these plans and instead chose to join the local brass group which he heard about from a friend. He has been very happy with his choice. And so has his wife. (Besides, this way Kurt doesn’t have to worry about secret agents wrecking his plans 1 second before they come to fruition.) He also enjoys reading, cooking, and fencing (the sport, not the trade).
