I have been a professional part time musician for over 40 years, and a member of the American Federation of Musicians for all of those years. I am currently President of AFofM Local 166. I started with MBB at its inception, and have played off and on ever since, mostly on solo cornet. I have been playing with the Avenue Sizzlers trad jazz band at the Avenue Bar for the past 15 years. I also have played with the Freistadt Alte Kameraden german brass band for the past 21 years. I am a founding member of the Quarzite Brass Quintet, and play in numerous other big bands, smaller ensembles and the Capital City Band.
I am married to Linda, an oboe player, and have one son Ed. I am currently employed by Kohl’s Department stores and Echumenical Housing Corporation.
