Music has been a big part of my life for many years. I started playing piano at the age of 5, and have also played French horn for over 20 years. A few years ago, I joined the Madison Brass Band and began learning to play the alto horn. I attended UW-Whitewater and studied French Horn in the mid-90’s. I now work full-time at UW-Madison as a graduate coordinator in the Department of French & Italian. I really love my job and all the wonderful people I have had a chance to meet through working there, and I’m blessed to be able to have the flexibility to play music frequently and also find time to attend classes at Upper Iowa University part-time towards eventually earning my Bachelor’s degree in psychology. In addition to playing with the Madison Brass Band, I am also a member of the 1st Brigade Band in Watertown, WI, and the Blessed Brass in Madison, WI.
